The Lions Club of Calicut was chartered in 1959. It had the unique distinction of being the first club in the whole of Kerala. Ever since its inception, the Lions Club of Calicut has remained in the forefront of community service in and around the city of Calicut, upholding the values and spirit of the founders of the organisation.
